· Before we begin

A brief is not
a contract.

It’s a structured way to tell us about your project so we can see if we’re a fit. Most briefs take ten minutes.

Some questions are about you. Some are about the work. One or two are about whether we should even be talking.

If you’re not sure of an answer, leave it blank. We’ll discuss in conversation.

One commitment

I read every brief personally and reply to each one, whether we’re a fit or not. That’s the deal.

¶01 · Who you are

The basics, briefly.

Founder, marketing lead, agency PM — one line is fine

¶02 · The work

Tell me about the project.

A new site, a redesign, an admin, an integration — two or three sentences

0 characters
¶03 · The shape of it

Money and time.

The questions that save us both a meeting.

Budget ·

An honest answer here is the kindest thing you can do. We work from £8,000 upward, depending on scope. Below that, we’d be doing you a disservice — and we’ll point you somewhere better.

Ideal timeline ·

When would you ideally want to start?

Who signs off? ·
¶04 · Context

Two last things.

What’s prompting this now? What’s gone wrong before? What would make it a success?

If a referral, who? Otherwise — anything helpful.

¶05 · Review

Before you send.

· Received

Thank you.

I read every brief personally, usually within a day or two. You’ll hear back from me either way — that’s a commitment.

If we look like a fit, I’ll suggest a thirty-minute conversation and send a longer set of questions for you to think about before we talk.

If we don’t, I’ll tell you why honestly, and where possible, point you somewhere better suited.
